Hooray! The 2022 Spring Season of the Lane County Farmers Market begins on April 2nd from 9am - 3pm, located again on 5th Ave (between High St. & Oak St.). Enjoy certified organic plants, flower and herb transplants, grown by us, for your garden and home! Our chives and oregano are looking really happy right now - come take a look (…or just stop by to say hello to us and the plants…)!
Another growing season is in the past...
After our usual months at the Eugene Farmer's Market and another fragrant lavender harvest behind us-we are once more finding ourselves in our "off" season. We wish you all a safe and peaceful rest of the year and many years of flower and plant enjoyment ahead. As always, we hope you consider supporting your local certified organic farmers-we all work hard to keep the soils, waters and wildlife healthy while offering you our harvests of love.

We are back again for another year of offering healthy, happy, certified organic flowers, herbs and various plants. We will also be selling our lavender essential oil, lavender sachets, and various other items. The Saturday Farmer's Market is Saturday's from 9:00 a.m.- 3:00p.m., at 8th Ave. and Oak Street.
Holiday Market time already?
We will be selling our certified organic plants and goods at the Lane County Holiday Market. We have quite the assortments of items and of course you can find us just by following the smell of the lavender coming from our booth!

The end of a season.
As the last of our lavender is being harvested we are getting ready for the end of our regular growing (selling) season. We always find this time of year bitter sweet-sweet to have had another privileged year of growing, smelling, eating and selling the plants and happy to rest for a bit-but sad that we have to wait so long to start up again. We plan to have a booth at the Lane County Holiday Market (November-December 2016) and perhaps drop in at some other events too-we will post when we have plans to be out selling in the community. THANKS AGAIN for another season of treating the earth with kindness by purchasing and enjoying certified organic plants-the bee's, butterflies, birds, soil, (the list goes on...) and generations to come are better off for it.
Smell the lavender!
we have just started harvesting our certified organic lavender. This morning, at 6am-we were out cutting some of the fragrant stems to offer up at the Eugen Farmers Market. Come smell our harvest-summer is here!
We have sprung into Spring with smiles around!
Spring here in the McKenzie Valley has brought us some warm and beautiful days so far. We have been enjoying these unusually mild days and so have the plants! Though we sold out of our Australian Mint Bush last week, please come by and see what else we have to offer at the Eugene Farmer's Market-this Saturday and EVERY Saturday (for a few months at least).
Already back in the greenhouse, full steam ahead!
YAY! Though we enjoyed our winter break it is hard to explain in words the delights that a new season of growing brings! We are busy prepping, sowing, propagating and planting our usual plant offerings and some new ones as well! There is even some talk of bringing back some old favorites...flowers that bloom with not only beauty and evoke smiles but which are great for bee health too! See you in a few months!

With the change of summer into autumn we are switching gears here at BBH nursery. We are cleaning up from this years plantings and harvests, prepping for the upcoming festive winter markets and plotting for the 2016 growing season! It's hot outside!!!!
Which means the lavender is blooming and we are harvesting! We will be bringing our fresh cut lavender to the Eugene Farmer's Market (on Saturday's-9am-3pm) or you can find our certified organic (certified by Oregon Tilth) in some local florists and grocery stores too! And...if you are driving by our farm and out "Fresh Lavender" sign is out by the driveway-you can also stop in and purchase some of the fresh cut bunches here too! HAPPY SUMMER!!!

Doesn't this bright yellow Welsh Poppy make you smile? Us too! We love these flowers and have some available today for sale at the Eugene Farmer's Market. We are running low on quantity of these plants but have a lot of other great offerings for you too! These-like all our plants are Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth-it's important to us that we offer this wonderful community safe non-conventional bedding plant options-because even if you don't eat the plants-organic is the best thing for the environment both locally and globally!

These sweet flowers have MANY medicinal uses and make us smile for the way they bloom in the coolness of early Oregon Spring growing season!
